Q &A FOR PARENTS
WHEN CAN MY CHILD START GYMNASTICS/NINJA? Classes start as young as 18mos old and go up through high school. But the great thing about our program, is that a child a start at any age. Please see our Class Info Page for more details on classes and age requirements. HOW DO I SIGN UP? All registration is completed online through theparent portal. WHICH CLASS SHOULD WE REGISTER FOR? For children ages 6 and under, classes are grouped by age. Ability levels start once they reach 1st grade. See our class flow chart here. HOW MUCH DOES IT COST? Session prices vary depending on the length of session and class selected. Each student pays an annual registration fee when they enroll for classes during the school year. May - August classes are prorated per class. DO YOU HAVE A WAITLIST? Yes, choose the class you would like to attend and request to be added to the waitlist. WILL YOU ADD MORE CLASSES? That is dependent on time and space in the gym, as well as instructor availability. WHEN WILL MY CHILD MOVE UP? Children ages 6 and under will remain in their class until they age out. Students in 1st grade and above need to complete the skill chart before moving on. Gymnastics is a sport with thousands of skills and a lot of repetition is needs to gain mastery of body movements. Our curriculum is very large within each level. When a child moves up depends on their athleticism, attendance and ability to make changes. It is common for students to spend multiple years in the same level. WHAT IF MY CHILD MISSES A CLASS? During the schoolyear, limited make-up classes are offered on select weekends on a first come, first served basis. This is not a replacement for missing your child's regularly scheduled class. Make-up classes are fitness-based classes that are multi-age, gender and ability. Children ages 5 and under can attend an Indoor Playground as their make-up. Reservations are taken online. Make-up classes only apply to students taking lessons in our progressive classes. They do not apply to camps, clinic, homeschool classes, drop-in classes, summer classes, special needs programs etc. Tuition is not prorated, credited or refunded for missed lessons. Only currently enrolled students may attend a make-up class. Once a child has stopped taking lessons, make-up classes are forfeited. There are no make-up classes offered during "a la carte" periods, but we are more than happy to to reschedule your child's class if 24hr notice is given. CAN I GET A REFUND? If a student needs to drop a class before the session has started, an account credit will be applied for a future program. If a refund is requested before a session has started or before 50% of the session has been completed, a 15% cancellation fee will be applied. If a child has attended 50% or more of a session, no refund, transfers, or account credit will be applied. No cash value, credits, or refunds for payments made using grants, scholarships, gift cards, or fundraising regardless of the number of lessons attended. Pro-Shop Items can be returned for account credit or exchanged as long as they have not been worn and the tags are still attached.Class cancellations are rare. In case of cancellation, PEG will notify families as to the next course of action.WHAT SHOULD MY CHILD WEAR TO CLASS? Any activewear or gymnastics leotard is just fine.
